“Hey! Where’s all the work?”
You’re looking at it. You’re hiring me for my experience, problem solving skills, and critical thinking.
The majority of the work I do is knowledge work – choosing the best technical solutions and implementing them.
“Where are the pretty pictures?”
Sorry, wrong company. I’m not a designer, though I do sketch prototypes and process flows, which fall under User Experience (UX) design. I’m also highly skilled in HTML and CSS, and familiar with jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.
I have forgotten two dozen other useless technologies and languages I learned along the way (asp, asp.net, Vignette Storyserver). Anyone remember TQL?
“Can you show me previous projects?”
Most of my work has been while at other agencies and as a sub-contractor to agencies, meaning the work I did for clients was either under a non-disclosure agreement or otherwise private.
You can look at a short list of clients on my bio page. I can tell you that I’ve worked on projects for hundreds of clients in my 20 years in the industry, and I’d be glad to provide you with contacts who have worked with me.
